Are groceries available at any of the DVC sites at Disney World? We will not have a car but cannot afford to eat Disney full time.

While grocieries are available they are quite limited and a little on the expensive side. There are two grociery delivery services that DVC members use I personallly have used a garden grocer, there is a $12 delivery charge and then waht ever the grocieries cost . The other service is We go shop, I haven't used them so can't vouch for them but others have and I have never read a bad thing about them. We go shop is a $17 delivery charge but they will shop at whatever store you want and get the brands you want. Good luck on whatever you decide.

Garden Grocer's online site has a pricelist. Also, DVC sites have grocery store delivery that is more expensive and not as extensive. We use Garden Grocer. It is delivered in the time frame you select and Bell Services keeps the order refrigerated.

We have used wegoshop.com 5 times and will use them on our next trip.
We are able to prepare a list of exactly what we want, brand names - sizes etc and they will deliver them. It is a $17 delivery fee, plus tip, but we believe we saved that over the cost of shopping at the Disney stores.
We buy: Water, juice, soda, coffee, breakfast foods, fruit, cheese, crackers, snacks and beer and wine.
We heartily recommend wegoshop.com
Have a great trip.

I second WeGoShop :thumbsup2 Marge is wonderful - she has no price list on her website because she has no fixed prices - she's a true shopper and will get you the best deal going to as many stores as you need her to for the specific brands your kids might be into & she gives you the reciept.

She's also told me that if you have coupons mail them to her and she will use them on your order. Great service! Will never go back to the GG guy again.

Does delivery mean that you must be present at the condo when they deliver your order? Must you wait indefinitely like you have to for the Cable Guy?

Also, you didn't mention how you were getting to WDW... but if you are flying in - many of the limo services you can take from the airport to the resort do 30 minute grocery shopping stops on your way from the airport. There is Winn-Dixie supermarket not far from the Downtown Disney area - great selection and good prices. There is also an ABC liquor in the same plaza if you need those type of refreshments. ;)
You can get a taxi at your resort if you want and drive to that supermarket. I don't know if the cab would wait for you to finish, but I'm sure you could get the phone # and get picked up shortly after your shopping is complete.
Just another couple options you might want to consider.

I am looking at the same thing...we won't have a car next week when we go to WDW. But we want some groceries...I was thinking of Garden Grocer, and I was wondering if I could still use them even though we are arriving at about 9 pm. Can I have them deliver earlier and then just get the stuff from Bell Services when we arrive? I assume stuff will keep for an hour or so, since I assume BS won't refrigerate...
Any experiences?

Another vote for Garden Grocer here! We used them in January and it was very convenient. As Tozzie mentioned, there is a $12 delivery fee, but there is no charge for delivery if the total is $200 or more. Everything was waiting for us at Bell Services when we got to the resort. BS WILL refrigerate/freeze items that need to be. We had ice cream and it was perfect. I have never used Wego Shop, but I have read positive things about them as well. Either way, you will save $$ over ordering it from the resort, plus the resots will have a very limited selection.

Anyone know if wine /beer can be delivered through garden grocer? Or another service?

Garden Grocer is wonderful! We've used them twice so far and have had great service! They will even deliver adult beverages if you fax them your id. Their prices are very reasonable and our deliveries were correct and on time both times we used them. We will continue to use them!

We visit the Publix (on route 536?) everytime we go. It may not be the closest but is very conveinent and never very crowded!

Yes bell services will hold your food and they will keep it refrigerated or frozen as needed.

You do not have to be present for your groceries to be delivered. Our first delivery we were in line at Kali River Rapids.

They will deliver beer and wine, and we called for extra deliveries of more beer - there was bad weather coming we needed to prepare. LOL
