Grocery Question - Mercantile

I understand we can fax a grocery order to VWL and these items will be brought to our room and I've reviewed the list on the DVC site. Are these all items that I can buy myself at the Mercantile? We want to have some groceries in the room for quick breakfasts (cereal, milk, bread, eggs, etc) but I'm wondering if it will be cheaper to just buy the items myself in the mercantile? I've been in that store at least 20 times, but I've never looked at the grocery section.

It is the same food. Someone who works there just takes a bag, fills it from their stock. You could just as easily go down and buy it yourself.

As others posted the groceries are the same.

We always love making the trip to the Mercantile for our trip "provisions."

While picking up or provisions we like to look through the rest of the Mercantile. We end up with a t-shirt or two.

Nice place to "shop."
