Ok. Usually we buy our meat from the butcher in a big package. It comes with around 68 pounds of beef, pork, and chicken for $150. This is a good deal and lasts us for a month. I feed three adults, one teen boy, and a 9 month old girl three meals a day. Though we don't have meat at all three meals. Anyway, Winn Dixie has been having BOGO sales on their meat and other sales too. I am looking get the best deal but I have no idea how much meat should cost! It has been so long since I have bought it in the grocery store. Can you guys tell me if these are good prices or not?
Chuck roast- $2.99 a pound
Ribeye- $5.99 a pound
Boneless chicken breasts- $4.59 a pound but are BOGO this week
ground beef- $1.99 a pound (but doesn't say fat content)
Pork chops- $3.69 a pound and are BOGO this week
Top round steak- $3.99 a pound
Thank you!! I just started the couponing thing and am feeling a little lost in all of this. I know prices depend on where you live but I would just like a general idea. Also, if you have a price point on other things too? Like Kellogs cereal will be half off and I have coupons so I will probably try to stock up there too. What about rice, pasta, frozen veggies, canned tomato puree? I used to just go to Walmart for everything but am finding that things are cheaper with sales and coupons elsewhere.

I'd get to buy chicken breast and London Broil once every 6-8 weeks and never get any other meat if I used that rule.
