Grocery Items getting smaller???

It really is just different ways to get the same result. If they had raised prices but kept the packaging the same, people would still be on here complaining. It's a no win situation for the company.
I can complain, but my family still needs to wipe their..... while still being the best for the septic system. I thought of this thread as soon as I opened a new package of Scotts to change the roll yesterday (funny how I'm always the one going in there when there is a completely empty roll.) It is indeed about a quarter inch shorter roll.

I have also noticed that some shredded cheese now comes in 1 3/4 cup bags instead of the usual 2 cups.

Chips Ahoy decreased the number of cookies and size of cookie and made some claim at more ecofriendly packaging as to why the package looked smaller. :rotfl2: You can't fool me!

I need to go check my TP now ;)

Many years ago Tampax started putting a few less tampons in the box and charged the same price. Women were outraged and started using other brands. Tampax quickly went back to the original amount.

I don't think this would work now with almost EVERY product on the shelves like this now.

You will not be amused when you see the new Oreo packages hitting the shelves then! They are being downsized too :scared1:
