Grocery items at AKV?

Hi,
I just found out the dates/times for our trip are booked for garden grocer to deliver. So, I'm wondering is there another way to get some basic groceries (water, milk, cereal) while we are at AKV? Is there a mini mart type of store onsite???? We will not have a car.

The main store in AKV has needed items like milk, water cereal, etc., variety (and size) is limited and the price difference in comparison to a Garden Grocer is somewhere between the amount of the federal bailout and what you actually take home in pay. Did you find out if Garden Grocer could deliver second day you are there?

UGH! Well I called garden grocer and they were nice enough to squeeze me in on Sat (Dec. 6th)...but told me to use a Dec. 5th date and just write the explanation in the special instructions section of the order.
We'll be at BCV on the 5th, transferring to AKV on the 6th. I didn't think of this til after I hung up, but what happens to my things if GG actually delivers on the 5th? Will bell services know to hold it until the next day? Should I call AKV and let them know the situation or will it just cause unnecessary (possibly) confusion????

If you go to the member site you can bring up the grocery list for each resort and get an idea of the prices. We found it cheaper to buy the few things we wanted than to order from an off site provider and pay the delivery charges. However if you are adding alcohol to the order that may not be the case as beer was $5 a bottle in the AKV store. Everything else like water , milk, eggs and juice was not that bad.

Why don't you try wegoshop.com. Marge is wonderful and we have used her about 9 times. Try her, she is so dependable.
