I know that this has been discussed a thousand times, but here I go. Staying at BWV in Feb. and would like to avoid the limo, grocery stop thing. Looking for opinions and details on which service is perfered? Gardengrocer, Wegoshop, or DVC groceries. Who will bring to the room when no one is around? I guess better asked is do you have to be available. Who will deliver beer, a must for vacation:lmao::lmao:.

Thanks for all answers

We always use Wegoshop. You have to be in the room for beer and wine. Marge will arrange a time to meet up with you and calls if she is running early or late. NEVER have had a problem.

Have a great trip.

We used Garden Grocer recently and I was very happy with the service. They delivered everything to Bell Services and once I was in our room I called them and they brought everything up. They have refrigeration so they were able to keep everything cold. I'm pretty sure garden grocer will deliver beer with a minimum grocery order of $45.

We were in AK and garden grocer called my cell to see if we got our food which I thought was nice. They seemed eager to please. I would definitely use them again!

My DS and DDiL used Garden Grocer for our trip in May. DGS was 10 months at the time so it helped not to have to bring baby food, diapers, etc on the plane. Service was excellent.

We have used Garden Grocer a few times now - most recently just a few weeks ago at the end of July. They have been great every time we have used them.

We are multiple wegoshop.com users and highly recommend their service. I always schedule a delivery in the early evening around 5 - 5:30. Marge has always delivered direct to my room. They give a 30 minute delivery window and they have always been right on time.
Good Luck

Although I have not used them, I have always heard good things about Garden Grocer. Reasonable prices and nice selection of items.:cool1::banana:

We've used Wegoshop for years. I just personally like being able to give her a list of specific brands and sizes. Also like knowing I'm paying the same cost at Walmart or Publix as I would if I went myself. Having beer/wine/water delivered==That alone saves the cost of the "shopping fee" :thumbsup2

We also prefer making the appt with her to meet us at the room and having it delivered right to our door. Tip one person and make sure everything's right at the same time--although we've never been shorted anything. She called from the store one time when she couldn't find something to see if we wanted a different product and even offered to stop at another store.

Always excellent service.

We used GG last May and they were great.
Our order arrived before we did at the resort. The resort kept it until we called for them when we got to our room.
I didn't order alcohol so I can't say but from previous threads seem like accepting alcohol without the guest present is crapshoot. Some resort will accept some won't.
So I'd say if you want alcohol schedule the delivery for the time you will definitely be there.

As indicated above, both are good, reputable companies that provide a high level of customer service. I'm sure you'll be fine with either that you choose.

We've used GG on our last 2 trips. I like the convenience of their website order form....like shopping the aisles at a grocery store. We have been highly satisfied and will use them again on future trips.

Another vote for Garden Grocer. Three trips in the last few years, 3 Garden Grocer orders, zero complaints.

I've also read nothing but good about WeGoShop, we've just never had a reason to switch from GG. I think the previous poster was correct...you'll be happy with either one.

Have a great trip!

We used garden grocer in June and they were great ! We r using them again in September. Their website is very easy to use too.

I just placed an order with GG for the very first time. I chose them over WeGoShop simply because I liked GG's website better. I find it easier to shop on GG's site by clicking through the various categories and items, rather than having to type out every item, quantity and size individually.

The delivery is scheduled for August 28th and based on everything I've read here, I'm sure it will go smoothly! :thumbsup2

We just used Garden Grocer for the first time last week. While on ME I received a phone call saying that our groceries had just been delivered to the hotel. Once we checked in and were in our room, I called Bell Services and told them I had a grocery delivery waiting. It was brought up to our room within 10 minutes. The cold food was very cold. No problems and I would not hesitate to use them again.
