Hello,
I've heard that there are different grocery delivery services in orlando. Do they deliver to places that are not Disney resorts? Also, does anyone have experience with this and are the prices a lot higher? Thanks!!

We just stayed at Windsor Palms and used Garden Grocier. They delivered the groceries into the house and put them in the fridge before we got there :). Pricing was similar to Publix (Delivery free with order over $200).

Thanks for the info.:) Do you have any more information on Garden Grocier? Do they have a website? We are planning a stay at Windsor Hills.

This might seem stupid and already posted somewhere else, but how do they get into the house if you aren't there??? :confused3

We are staying at Windsor Hills in October and I'd like to learn more about this.
Thanks!

i also used garden grocer for my trip in december and ordered again for my trip in 2 weeks. i order everything from cleaning products to milk and breakfast foods to dairy products and fresh fruit. the prices are higher than i would spend at home(but i am a huge bargain shopper) bu it is worth it compared to disney prices to get breakfast in the parks. if there is anything you want specifically that is not on their website, you can put t in special comments. i know some people request beer, i requested hot chocolate with marshmellows (only plain HC was on their webiste) if you are specific on what you want, there should be no problem. i love that disney keeps everything refrigerated for me until i check in.

The property management company lets Garden Grocer into the homes. Although we rented direct by owner, the management company was All Star Vacation Homes and they let them in.

We just used Garden Grocer for our trip last week. It was our third time using them and they were great. We added on beer, wine, pre-made margaritas and Mike's Hard lemonade. Produce was great and as specified in our comment section.

As far as being expensive, that would depend on your local grocery prices which differ around the country. I am from a tourist/beach area in south Jersey and the prices through garden grocer were cheaper than what I can find here at home.

We've always used wegoshop.com. They will shop at a store of your choosing. We ask them to go to Publix. My parents go to Florida for the winter and my mom says their prices are pretty good. I checked out garden grocers website and thought their prices were a little high. Wegoshops delivery fee is a little more but they have it listed on their site that they will match another service's fee. I'm guessing garden grocer is their biggest competion. We have always had very good luck with them and gotten exactly what we ordered. You are expected to tip the person who delivers your order. I don't know how that compares to garden grocer. We go shop will deliver to your hotel and leave the order with bell services if you are not there yet. I alway try to have them deliver after we get there. Hope that helps.
