Grocery Delivery ?????

I hear about everyone getting bottle water and stuff sent to their resorts, but what about house rentals? We will be renting a house in Indian Creek and won't be landing til 7pm. How late do they deliver? I figure we wouldn't be getting to the house til about 8:30pm at the earliest. Is it do able?? I can't wait til morning for a delivery so should I just go out myself when we get there?? Thanks for any help you can offer!

Garden Grocer would deliver to your home, but they only do it between 8 am - 9 pm. I might just grab the bare essentials on your way from the airport ( I think Publix is open until 10 pm) and then have something delivered to the house or go shopping the next morning. If you decide you want to go shopping later at night after you get unpacked, Wal Mart is open 24 hours each day.

We always pop into Walmart to do a shop on our way to the house. OK - I have been shopping at 3am one time, but it was still nice to get it done that first evening!

It also gives us time to stretch our legs (usually flying for 5.5 - 6.0 hours) and get the kids some food if they are hungry.

To me thats the best time to shop @ Walmart

I am using Garden Grocier and staying in a house at Windsor Palms. They are delivering our order before we get there and stocking the fridge. I prepaid for the order. Call and see if they can do the same where you are staying.

We used WEGOSHOP and Marge was terrific! Everything went very smoothly.

subscribing. I will be in a vacation home in Oct. 2009. Just starting to get information together. The idea of having the groceries delivered sounds great. I am going to have to check into this. We drive down and would arrive on a saturday during the mid afternoon. It would be great to just jump right in and enjoy the home and not have to go grocery shopping I look forward to everyone information!
