Grocery Delivery to Swan?

I know that the Swan's policy is that grocery deliveries (like Instacart) are not allowed. Is there any way around this? (Can we circumvent this if we meet the delivery person in the lobby? Or some other way?) We are staying for 8 days and won't have a car - so would really love to get some staples delivered.

We used Amazon PrimeNow, and met them outside in the drive up loop. You will set the delivery time, they will text you when they are on their way. I took down a large suitcase and put the stuff in there and wheeled it up to my room.

However somebody on the S/D thread didn't meet their Amazon PrimeNow driver and they went inside, it set them back a $100 charge.

Yeah I'm not sure the poster knew exactly why the driver took the package inside, it sounded like a serious SNAFU on Amazon PrimeNow's part. I know my driver was sitting waiting at the Dolphin for me not the Swan. Didn't speak much English so that made it hare but she got a supervior on the phone and he figured it out. He saw that I had given the info for the Swan.

I will be staying at the Dolphin in a couple of weeks and wondered if anyone else has successfully been able to place an order through Amazon Prime Now. I tried reading through the SWAN & DOLPHIN RESORTS Information & Questions thread but it's 380+ pages and I couldn't find the discussion on delivery services.

For SteveH, or anyone who has ordered from Prime Now or another service, do you recommend I enter delivery instructions for them to meet me outside on the front drive? Even though I understand they don't allow grocery deliveries to the bell staff would the hotel not allow them into the lobby or try to prevent you from taking the delivery yourself?
