Has anyone ever used the option of faxing your grocery list from the dvcmember site and having it delivered to the room prior to your arrival? Any comments, suggestions, etc.?

The list is limited and the prices are high. If you have a car you would be much better making a grocery stop on the way to the WDW. There a a bunch of good grocery stores on the way from the airport. Skip Gooding's very good selection, but very expensive.
Many of the car services include a 30 min stop for grocery.
Some people have orderd from on line companies that delivery.
We always rent a car and stop on the way. The last visit Dec'02 we stopped at the new PUBLIX in the Premium Outlets Mall. Brand new store good selection and decent prices

We have used the DVC grocery list/fax/deliver thing. We were doing it as a suprise for friends of ours that were staying on our points last year. They were thrilled with the suprise. However we did find the prices high and I think if we do this again we will try a grocery delivery company and see if it prices out less.

We fax in a order for milk, juice and pop. Then we have NetGrocers.com deliver the non-perishables. (Net grocers is comparable in price to our markets at home - the shipping cost is a trade off for the sales tax)

Although one time I let the deadline for ordering from netgrocers slip by and ordered all my breakfast needs from DVC fax. It worked great.

We do this every trip. I know that the prices are high but the convenience is worth it for us. There is also just a sense of fun to come into the room and have it all stocked with our groceries already. It's like a little DVC magic. Of course, we don't order too much, just snacks and soda, milk, etc. We eat the majority of our meals out and are just in for breakfast which is pretty minimal too. Poptarts, cereal, fruit. Nothing major but it's just simply fun.

Hi! I have been a member since 1992 and have always had groceries delivered to the room by Disney. The cost may be high but not having to go to the grocery store off campus on the first day is priceless. We usually stay in a one bedroom at OKW for about 10 days and order enough stuff for two or three days. We have frequently gone to the publix on a weekday (when it is not busy) to round out our shopping but we don't have to, and that makes all the difference!

Does BCV's offer the same thing??? How can I find that list? THANK YOU!
