Grocery delivery from Vons

Hello - I was wondering if anyone (from out of the USA) has managed to order groceries from Vons grocery store in Anaheim, via the Vons website, for delivery to their Anaheim hotel - using a non-US credit card? The check out section on the Vons website asks for a US zip code, and when I rang Vons they told me that I need a US-credit card to order groceries for delivery, and they don't accept orders over the phone. But I've read some posts which suggest that some people have been able to place orders using non-US cards? We won't have a car - and don't particularly want to start off our Disney holiday with grocery shopping!

They are a side project of paypal and allow you to order things from US sites where you need either a US address or credit card.
They charge a fee for their service so check it out thoroughly before you use it.

I believe the zip code requirement is for your hotel you're staying at, to make sure you're within Vons' delivery range - which the area hotels are. (If you happen to be staying at Residence Inn or Homewood, they have a free shopping service, btw). If Vons isn't working out, I think Safeway.com may still be delivering.

What if you buy a prepaid Visa or Mastercard online and then you could use that?

We are staying with Hojo and they said it is no problem (with Canadian credit card) that Von's will deliver there and if we haven't arrived yet they would either store in our room or hold for us.

I am not sure about other hotels though.
