Grocery Delivery at BCV

We usually rent a car but will be using a rideshare this year. Usually we stop at the Publix near AK to grab a few groceries for our room.
If we take an Uber to Publix to get groceries after visiting AK and then another back to BCV where can the driver drop us off?
If we have grocery delivery does the driver drop off the items at the BCV lobby? Can we use their cart to bring the items to our DVC room?

I use Walmart delivery. I have to meet them at the front because FL requires ID for alcohol. The app is very good at showing me when they are coming. I use a stroller to bring it up. I'm sure you could use suitcases or ask Bell Services to help.

Technically, they aren't supposed to let you use the Disney carts, but I've seen a few lying around and used them a few times.

We do Instacart at BCV often. The delivery driver needs your reservation information, and they can enter with your groceries. If you want to be there for pick-up, you can. We usually have them leave it with Bell Services, who will refrigerate anything marked refrigerate. Then we call when we're in the room to have the groceries delivered. Disney charges a $6 fee for grocery delivery to the room.

I use Instacart as I found that Walmart often does not have some of the fresh items that I want. Instacart shops at Publix and is good about letting you know if something is not available so you can choose another option.

I’ve done the same ordering Publix through Instacart… need to meet the delivery if there is a alcohol, otherwise they will leave at Bell Services. I just call when I get to my room and they bring the order up.

Good point - should have made that clarification that we don't include alcohol in the delivery that's dropped with Bell Services.

In that case they will leave it at BS. You can pick it up when you’re ready… or have them bring it to your room. Personally I don’t mind paying a little extra to have someone else do the heavy lifting Lol
