Anne 'm glad envie #3 came as I still haven't had time to get to the PO yet !! I have worked 41 hours in the last 72 !! Today was only 14!!!

Ya know....I think he is a great football player...well he was, but this retire..come out of retirement....retire....come out of retirement stuff is stupid. But it did make me think of ya Dede....not the retirement....and not the "stupid".....but the Mn Vikings....but you got that right?

Yes, I got what you said! Personally, I don't care how many times athletes (or anybody for that matter) changes his/her mind about their future. The important part is that he's totally passionate about football, but I just hope his nearly 40-year-old body can withstand the physical demands of the game. I really don't think he will be taking us to the Super Bowl and those who think that that's going to happen might be a little delusional. I am just thankful that he's onboard and adding some much needed excitement to what was going to be a really bleak season.

2,000 season ticket packages have sold since Farve has signed. I hope he helps your team this year except on September 20.

I also happen to think this is great. When I went to Minneapolis last year we were at the arena where the Vikings play and a news reporter came up to us and asked us what we thought about a possible black out (TV viewers) if the seats were not sold. I think its great the tickets are selling once again for the Vikings fans, especially in this economy, maybe it is a good boost they need to also pump the team up a bit.

It is ok for someone to change their mind as much as they like about their life & goals. Goodness knows I have. Thanks Dede for making me look at this differently.

I don't like that a "professional" keeps jacking management, fellow players and fans around with his "retirements". BUT I do hope that he can help the Vikings (or whatever team he goes to next after his next retirement). I am glad that the Favre news has knocked the Vick news off the headlines. Football sure has been interesting so far this year.

Well I received 3 envies today (Thank you DisneyFan) and I went thru them and I put all the extras plus what I had to go out in one Priority envie which will go out tomorrow.

I leave Monday for my Bestfriends + kids (5 of them) week in Newport RI! I am so looking forward to an Awful-Awful and some kite flying! We get home 8/30 and I start the Fall term classes on Monday 8/31, kiddos start school on 9/1 so hopefully by Wednesday 9/2 I can get caught up with my posts and envies.

As an aside, today I went to a friend's house. They are very well off. Her DH is frugal, probably why they can have all they have - but I digress, today as we sat at the beach he said, "Now Babe, Kim knows how to save and get bargains, we need to learn about coupons from her" And he and I proceeded to discuss coupons, the train, and my stockpiling etc. I felt very good after our talk. I have all you to thank, and the whole Budget board. I came here to start saving money when DH was laid off, and now with his new job I can't go back! Thank you!

Doreen....I lied. It didn't make it into the 5x7 so it is another 9x12 envie this week. I sure hope your grocery bill is going down because the guy at the post office thinks I'm nuts! lol

Wow! Another 9X12 envie!! I love it. That's Ok. The girls here at work think I am nuts also I save LOTS every week & when I go to Walmart I save between $20.00 & $30.00 dollars each trip.
