Buzz & ZPT, I didn't know you had twins? I do too. Except mine are both boys, but they too are fraternal. They look nothing a like, one looks like me and my side of the fam, and the other looks like my husband and his fam. When they were little people used to ask me all the time how I could tell them apart, that always seemed so stupid to me because they truly look nothing alike, they look like brothers, yes, but no way like people used to make them out to be. How old are yours? Do you have other kids? We have a younger boy that is 2-years younger than the twins, but he is big for his age so I get people ask me if they are triplets. Are yours in the same class at school?

DD and DS just turned 8 on 4/19. And they are my only blessed miracles

They are in the same class at school, primarily because of the teacher. They really don't rely on each other, and many classmates don't think they are twins, and some teachers don't even know they are related since they don't really have the same friends or anything. I told the school to place them as as they would any other singleton next year, and if they are in the same class great, if not great.

Funny story. We never refer to them as "The Twins" and actually forbade everyone from doing so. Only MIL calls them the twins :sad2:. They came home one day from 4 year old preschool. "Mommy, Mommy, guess what we are twins!" "Really, what does twins mean". "We were both born on the same day, not everyone is like us". It was too cute.

Heather,

I sure hope your getting my envies. I've been sick this week so I haven't gotten them out. But I will get it out by Friday.

I got back today a bag full of coupons that was shredded. Not sure when they are from. I just put them bak in envies and mailed them out again.
So you will be getting 4 envies this week from me.
Sorry if you did not get some from me one week. I had no idea

Kellie

I have some box tops.
I will send them to the first person to send a PM

Buzz~That is cute! We never really call them the twins either. It's funny though because we do (not so much anymore) call them "the boys". Which is weird because our youngest is also a boy. :confused3 But for some reason when I refer to "the boys" it is the twins, youngest not included. Like I said though, not so much anymore, now "the boys" is becoming all 3!!

Wow, I'm weird, I just realized that. :rotfl:

Anyways, mine will also be turning 8 this year, the end of Oct. :thumbsup2

No problem Kellie. You think with the postage rate going up the machines would be nicer to our envies!

:lmao:  I know exactly what you mean! I have those days when I can't stand anyone especially myself.

Thanks to my senders....I haven't looked through my envelopes yet but I am sure they are great :goodvibes

Jax677 :bday: Hope you have a great day (and vacation).

:bday: My husband's birthday is also 5/5. I keep teasing him that we should go to a Mexican restaurant some year on his birthday and see if he gets free drinks ;)

OMG! I am going to have to use that one!

I am an adjunct professor at a community college. This term I taught Intro to Computers, Excel 2007 and Software Applications. It is something I can get paid for be still be available during the day for my kiddos.

Have a great week everyone! I will probably be away from my computer until after the communion.

That sounds like a nice balance- home when you need to be, but still keeping a foot in the working world. My twins are off to full day kindergarten next year so I am debating what I want to do with myself. I keep telling DH that I need to figure out what I want to be when I grow up :lmao:

Mine are four, they'll be turning five at the end of June. I also have a seven, soon to be eight year old (they remind me every day that it is almost their birthdays ) Not sure if we will have any more. DH is open to it "if it happens" but doesn't want to do all the treatments and whatnot again. I do tell him that if we ever win the lottery we will be buying a huge house and filling it with (adopted) kids.

My kids have never been in the same school together. DS is special needs and attends special ed preschool at a local elementary school. Oldest DD is in yet another elementary school (I think there are ten in my town ). Little DD is at Catholic school for preschool this year. I am so looking forward to the three of them being in the same school next year that I'm not even worried about whether or not they will share a classroom. I'm too excited about having five minutes to myself and not feeling like I live in my car to worry about those details :lmao:

That is cute! Mine are starting to catch on that they are twins and what that means and now DD tells everyone she meets
