I went to PO to send out your priority envie. It is a PO I have sent many an envie. The clerk (who I have seen many times) would not accept my Disney Visa because I wrote Please See Id on it. (My DV # was stolen a few months ago and so the new card I wrote that on the back) I was prepared with my ID, but she said NO GO! Every card in my wallet said the same. So I left (I give myself credit I did not yell, did not call her names etc.)

I promise tomorrow I will get cash and mail it out, yes from a different PO

Oh no! The flu??? Would you believe I all but lost my eyesight? The doctor has no clue why it happened but earlier this week I suddenly couldn't see. I tried to stay calm and flush my eyes with solution and stuff thinking something from my contacts had done it since I was fine till I put them in. No good. He said that it was ocular edema which is a build up of fluid and proteins behind the cornea that doesn't allow the eye to "set" right. It was terrifying. I really thought I was going blind. Lasted about 12 hours and then started to clear and now its fine. So bizarre......

That sounds frightening! I am so glad it is over and you can see again! Having problems with your eyesight is a scary thing I have lots of floaters and a few other issues with my eyes....all of them I could live with till the optometrist told me that the problems I was having could lead to a detached retina Hopefully that won't happen!

Oh my heck Karen. THat is scary. I'm glad it is all back to normal now, but wow, what a fright, I can't imagine. So is this something that could occur again? I guess so?

Oh my gosh Karen that is scary!! Glad everything is fine now. Mine was just a head cold but started with a very sore throat & now all in my sinuses. Went to the doctors & they checked me for strep but all is good. She took me out of work for the rest of the week so back to work tomorrow. Just think-flu season has not even started yet My son came down with the head cold on Monday & then I got it on Wed. Hopefully my other DS & DH do not get it.

I am so glad your eyesight has gone back to normal. That sounds terrifying!
