There was a ton I was able to use and everyone is thrilled to be receiving them at the commissary :cheer2:
THat was FAST!

I love that someone thought of me! :goodvibes The uncrustable coupon could not have come at a better time! My DD has to have the PB & J ones and my sone is in a peanut free school so he uses a box of grilled cheese ones every week! Thank you!!!!! :) :cool1: MN Girl rocks....not just because of the coupons but because you let me steal your avitar.
Are the cheese ones any good? I always think of them as not so good cold. I have this a Bzz campaign and have the little holder for these. It is so cute d keeps the sammies from getting smooshed.

Thinking of changing my DIS user name to Grumpy Pants in MN today. It is.......snowing. :sad1: :cold: :sad2: Oh well, guess it could be worse. SD somewhere had almost four feet. :scared1:

Thanks again gardengalb4 for the envelope. :)

I know! My mom is in Rapid City and had a foot in town. The hills got 4 feet and since it was a full-on blizzard everything is closed. It's too early!

Cheese ones are good, you have to nuke em. The package says for 15 - 30 seconds but I put it in for 15 then turn it over and do another 15, this way the cheese doesn't ooze out of the sides. It comes with a little cardboard sleeve to put the sammie in so that it doesn't get soggy. Smells like a grilled cheese and my picky DS likes them.

I am going to the Smuckers website. I'd like to get one of those plastic thing-ee so that my sammies don't look like a soggy pb & j ball.

Piratemama~ received a very fat envie yesterday! Thank you!! There were quite a few that I can use!!

So glad you coudl use them. I went through my box and realized I had way more coupons for some thing that I would use. plus carolinamomof3boys always send me great evnive w/ some for me and some good ones to pass on. Hope some one will be about to use the TRU one. I don't shop there.
I have the Target toy book and will prob clip them for next week.

MnGal- thank you so much for the birthday envie. It was totally unexpected and a great surprise. I dont get a whole lot of mail so getting the envie was awesome! I really appreciate it. :)

Kinda off topic a bit, but I am curious about something......

I really like to see all the different kinds of coupons that come through the train as the amounts are different on some, etc. So in thinking about this, was just curious about the stores you shop at the most? Like what is the grocery store you shop at most? Do you shop at Walmart or Target more or is there some other store that you get the good deals at?

I think it will be interesting to see where everyone shops at the most!

Locally (20 miles away-that is local for me) I have Target, Walmart & Shopko. There is a Cashwise, but no other major grocery chain, so I get most of my groceries at Walmart.

When I go to the "big City" I like to stop at Cub Foods for groceries. I also make a point to stop at CVS when I go to the "big city" too!

Where do you shop the most?

As far as shopping we have
Stop and Shop, Shaws, Target, BJ, Costco, Roach Bros.
I tend to just do Stop and Shop and Shaws.
We also have a store called Big Y. I only go to them when they have a buy 1 get 2 free sale going on

I have Target and Wegmans on my commute home, so those are my most frequent trips. There is a Super Walmart about 7 minuts from my mom's house, so anytime I go to my mom's, I run into Walmart for "just XXX" and leave with a full cart. We don't have a Tops very close any more, but they're local enough that if they are having a really great deal, I will go there.

I have a Stop and Shop, Shaws, Shop Rite, Aldi's, and Big Y close by. I only go to the Stop and Shop and Shaws though. We also have Walmart and Target. I get 99% of my groceries at the supermarket and get everything else (paper towels, toilet paper, etc.) at Target. The drugstores are the usual ones: CVS, Walgreens, Rite Aid. I go to CVS alot. Not so much Walgreens and hardly ever to Rite Aid.

Good Lord, can you imagine doing all of your shopping there and paying those prices!?!? I went in there once when they were having the buy 1 get 2 free sale and I couldn't get over how high their prices were!! :scared1:

When they first came to my town I won a 100.00 gift card. I thought yeah I free week of shopping.:rotfl2:
I was shocked at how high the prices are. Like I said I go there for the buy 1 get 2 free sales and only if I have coupons for all three items

I mainly shop at our military commissary but also go to CVS and Target. I have an HEB and a walmart but I dont really think that thier prices are as good.

Walmart is my main store. We have a Food Giant (not a good selection) and a Winn dixie ( to pricy for me unless they are having a sale) so I am pretty much stuck with Walmart. the nearest Target is an hour away although we are getting one a few towns away from me so I am looking forward to that.

I do all my big shopping on base at the Commissary. I also go to SuperTarget quite a bit. We have WalMart, HyVee(mid-west chain), Bakers (owned by Kroger) and No Frills(local chain) in my area as well.

Are you talking about the plastic sandwich container? If so, just a word of advice, and I don't know if others experienced this or not. But my boys have them and they were not eating their sandwiches. I asked them why and they said because the bread was hard. For some reason it doesn't keep the bread that fresh. Now I put their sandwich in a baggie and then it goes in the container, and now we have no more problems!! :thumbsup2

Not sure you needed to hear from me since we're both in MN, but I'll chime in. I live closer to St. Paul than Minneapolis and on my side of town there's just about everything except Aldi's (no coupons accepted there) and Festival (more expensive than Cub or Rainbow usually). I can get to both Aldi's and Festival, but it's just quite a bit farther to drive than Cub, Rainbow, Target, Walmart, KMart, etc. I like CVS and Walgreens and occasionally Snyders has some good deals. No Shopko in the Cities that I know of and have never heard of Cashwise. Since our Target isn't a SuperTarget, the grocery dept. is very limited. I do almost all my grocery shopping at Cub and Rainbow.

Where do you shop the most?

Every week I do a shop at Wal-mart, only because it is a bit cheaper. I can't get everything I want there, and some things I don't buy there at all do to bad experiences with specific items in the past. We have an Albertsons right down the street from us, and I usually buy fruit & meats from them, or other items that are on sale and are cheaper than Wally World. I also go to them if I need 1 item because they are so close. Lately, I have also been shopping at Fred Meyer, because their milk is the cheapest at $1.99 a gallon and we go through about 4-5 gallons a week. So I will go there once or twice a week to get milk and any other items that I need at that moment, but usually if it's not on sale I won't buy it there because they tend to be more expensive, imo. So those are the 3 grocery stores I shop at on a weekly basis. I go to Costco about 1-2 times a month. We buy our bottled water there and occasionally other food items, I do buy the big boxes of cheeze its and goldfish for the boys snacks there, and when they drop their coupons I buy the items we use because with the Costco coupons the prices are fabulous.
For some reason I love Target, but never grocery shop there. :confused3 I have found good deals with the soda in the past, but I never seem to learn about their deals on my own, so maybe since I don't know about them or don't know where to look for them, that's why I don't buy more foods from there.
Good topic Shirley-Q!
