I received the list today !! How do I know who is in the Christmas card exchange !! If everyone is it'll be a lot !!

That is why I didn't sign up for the the exchange. I was too worried about a huge list. We are TRYING to cut back this Christmas and as much as I would love to participate I could not justify ADDING more cards and stamps to the list.

It would be costly to do everyone

If you have any questions, message Disney8704, she is organizing this. When she initially posted this idea, there was interest in it from several people, so I think that is why it went through. However, no one is obligated to send to everyone. You can send to those that you know best!

We are also trying to cut back, and have been doing so all year. My twins just turned 7 and this is the first year we didn't do a party. We have been pretty faithful with watching our money this last year, and I plan to keep doing it. It's tough at times though, and a good splurge cleanses the soul I think, but then back to the grind!

Yes, it would be costly....about $25 just in stamps. I agree, lets not announce who we (you) have mailed to, because that just let's everyone else know that they won't be receiving one.

As a side note to my message I sent the group earlier today. I was asked if I could ask everyone what specific coupons they are looking for from their buddy and/or what they do not want their buddy to send them. I will not do this.

The reason is, even though the person you send to may not need pet or baby or yogurt coupons (or whatever), it does not mean the person they send to does not need or want them. Take the coupons YOU use, pass the rest on...hence, the "train". Somewhere along the line there will be someone that will take or use them.

Also, I'm sorry if I offended any of you. It was not meant for any one person in particular, but for the entire group. That is why I wrote "this message is going out to everyone in the group" in the first line of the message. I realized after I sent the message that there are several of you that are very good about mailing to your buddies and are able to mail wish list envies out as well, without upsetting anyone. I am not talking to you. I will always contact you directly in a private message if there are any problems.

With all my ramblings I think I forgot to tell Kidnurse my envie came on Friday. WOW there were some good ones. I used the Children's Place one yesterday and I think I will go back today without the grandchildren so I can really shop. DS said to thank you too. Both kids had to have new coats.

I agree, it would be awful if someone sent a stack of cards out and didn't get any herself. Thats the reason I didn't sign up. I couldn't commit to sending cards to everyone, but I couldn't send to a just few and leave others out either.
