I shop at Publix mostly when they have B1G1 and can use coupons. They double up to 50 cents and you can really get some good deals. They will let you use a coupon per item on B1G1.

I sometimes shop Winn Dixie but not as much as I used too. The Publix is newer and cleaner and the last time I tried a B1G1 with coupons for each item, they would not let me use both coupons.

I also shop CVS for the ecbs but have cut down on them lately as I have a stockpile of HBA's.

I will only buy meat from Publix or Winn Dixie. So when they have a sale I stock up.

Walmart is Ok but it just takes too much time to get what you need and get out. Plus their prices are not as good as they used to be. I can get better deals at Publix with the sales and doubled coupons.

I had a very bad day. I went shopping as I always do on Sundays. Dropped off my huge bundle of coupons from your mailings and then went into the department store. By then, I was sick of holding my accordian file of personal coupons and placed it in the cart. There were a few times the cart was left unattended as we looked at things like TVs, etc. We checked out and just as we left the store (5 steps from the cart corral) to walk to the grocery store, I realized I did not have my accordian file. We quickly realized the file was not even in the cart when we checked out.

Someone stole my fat accordian file of coupons while we were shopping. It is not like we are in poverty. It is just coupons and thankfully not a wallet or purse, but still, it is the idea that someone stole something that was mine.

Now I have to start all over again. I had some really good coupons. Each time I picked up an item, I said to myself "I had a dollar coupon for that" or "I had a 55 cent coupon for this". I saved a whopping $8 in the coupons I found in the cubby today. I could have saved close to $40!

MN_Gal--I still haven't cutout the coupons from today. Been a looooonnnnnnggggg weekend with a swim meet 9 hours each day. ugh. I hope to get it done tomorrow and in the mail before they pick it up. Of course, I also hope to tackle that pile of laundry that a friend of mine has nick-named Mt. Washmore!
