We are heading for our first DVC vacation in July. We have the dining plan so we won't need too many groceries. I was going to bring cereal and coffee etc wtih us. But my question is, can you buy milk at the resort?

or do you have to use a grocery service like garden grocer for things like that?

Yes you can buy milk at the resort. All of the resorts have a limited selection of groceries at the resort store.

Also if you have a car, or don't mind a cab ride there is a "non-tourist" supermarket about 3 miles outside of DTD

We've always used garden grocer for orders small or large. When I'm on vacation, I don't want to spend my time grocery shopping.
