Groceries - will resorts hold them?

We are staying at OKW on our next trip, and will landing in Orlando around noon. I would like to hit the grocery store on our way to WDW to pick up milk, snacks, baby food, diapers, etc. I know that it is unlikely that our room will be ready by the time we get to the resort. Would OKW be able to store our groceries (especially the cold stuff) until our room is ready? Or should I wait until after we've gotten into our room to buy groceries?

I believe they will hold them for you. Check out the DVC board, you might find your answer there to.

We stayed at Saratoga Springs a few weeks ago, and I had groceries delivered, which arrived before we got there. Bell Services had a place to store them (refrigerated). We just called Bell Services to deliver them once we got our room at 4pm.

So my guess is that OKW has the same thing.

When we had groceries delivered to the BWV they held them. I don't see really see a difference between that or bringing your own. They will.

you can have groceries delivered to the hotel from this place called gardengrocer.com
your hotel will store your groceries and have the bell hope deliver them to your room
we are landing in Orlando at 10 am and going straight to the park but because of my sons special diet we need to buy certain food that Disney doesn't carry. we are even having our diapers, baby needs, and breakfast items delivered as to cut down on how many bags we bring on the plane. the prices at this place are the same as they are in your local food store and they only charge a small fee to deliver. the only thing is that you have to order at least $40 worth of whatever (I think)
we are going Nov 3-13 and we are using this site for the first time, if you go before us tell and you us it tell us how it worked out.

Scotsod - we're headed to WDW in late October. I had heard of garden grocer and was considering them - we'll let you know how it went if we go with them!

We used GardenGrocer.com on our last trip (SOG) and it worked like a charm. Vacation time is much better spent at WDW rather than in a food store IMHO. Have a great trip!
