Groceries while @ DL??

Boy are you guys gonna be sick o' me!!!

I have read posts here (perhaps old ones, not sure) where people have had grocery items delivered to their rooms. I'm looking to have some snacks in our rooms - yogurt, milk, crackers, cheese...the "good for them" stuff. Is there a store nearby that delivers, or even just a corner store or something that would have these items? Now that the airline restrictions are so strict, we can't take most of it with us on the plane, and containers of yogurt in checked luggage makes me a little nervous....

I believe both Albertsons and Vons delivers to DLR area hotels.

But a common problem with ordering online is that they don't take the postal code in the billing address, so Canadians haven't been able to order from them. I think that's both Albertson's and Von's, but I KNOW I've seen it for Von's.

So would it be possible to use my sister's address in OH, and just bill it to my visa instead? Or would I have to bill it to my sister? Or, once we were there, would I be able to charge it to the hotel??

Hmmmmm, I'm thinking you could bill it to your sister in Ohio with her address, but it would have to be her cc so the billing address matched the credit card. Could you just pay her back?

Gawrsh, that seems awfully difficult, but might be worth it so you don't have to drag yourself out shopping once your in Anaheim.

If you will have a car, there are TONS of grocery stores VERY close to the parks. Its not like WDW in that the Park was built in the city, not the city around the park. Its a 5 minute drive to vons and about 7 minutes to Albertsons. I even think there is also a Ralphs very close. And right on the corner of Harbor and Katella is a 7-11 convenience store (this is where I got water, string cheese, bagels, bread and lunchmeat for my last trip.

We won't be renting a car this trip - being that this is our first EVER holiday with the kids (besides a camping trip!), we decided to keep it simple and just do DL with no rental, no outside trips, etc.... But even the 7-11 would be better than nothing, and it looks like I could walk there.

We did Vons for delivery. It was great and had no problems. But, we also aren't from Canada. There was free deilvery on your first order too. Maybe ask your sister if you can use her addy and cc and just pay her back.
