groceries sent to wilderness

I saw on another board a couple stores that you can order groceries and have them sent to your resort, do they do this for the campground also? Also what is the name of the grocery store? We had to change our plans so we are now renting a RV so we can eat some meals there and save some money that way!

Garden Grocers is popular. There is also We Go Shop. Both will deliver to pretty much any place in Disney or in and around Orlando.

We Go Shop does require you to be present when the groceries are delivered. They allow to pick the store and present you with the grocery check-out slip. A service fee is added to the cost of the groceries. A tip is optional.

We have used WeGoShop 3 times and have never had to be present for delivery. They have always dropped it off with bell sevices before we arrived. Is that something new?

Honestly if you're going to be arriving in an RV, it would be just as easy to stop at the grocery store and get food before you go to the campground.

We've never had to be present for drop off, if we give them a CC to process.

Garden Grocer was so convenient for us. I went online, ordered snacks, breakfast items and such a week ahead if time. Paid for it online and included the tip. When we arrived at our F W Cabin at 1pm from the airport we were pleasantly surprised to have all of our items in the cabin already neatly placed. Refrigerated items were where they belonged in the fridge and we were free to hit the ground running! Would use them again in a heartbeat!

Just schedule your delivery after you arrive and while you are going to be at your site.

I might suggest you place your order early enough, especially if you are going at a busy time.....only so that you get the delivery date you desire.

We went at Christmastime a few years ago, and I didn't place my order early enough to get the day we landed. We had to wait till the next day. (which was fine...)
