Groceries near Aulani?

We are looking for a real grocery store ( no Target, etc) near Aulani. We eat mostly whole foods so need to find one with lots of fresh produce. Any suggestions? TIA

Safeway, Foodland, Target, Walmart (both of which have fresh produce) and Down to Earth are all located in Kapolei which is the suburb before Ko Olina.

Costco is in Kapolei as well.

Stay away from Target if possible. Nothing bad about it but traffic on the Parkways gets REAL crazy backed up, especially in the parking lot (mitigating circumstances - there is a Dunkin in that shopping center). And there's a lot on construction at the H1 exit/entrance too right now. Was there last tweek for biz. Safeway and Wally World are your best bets although some of the produce at Safeway was meh.

Wal Mart has terrible produce where I live but we will try it while there, thank you

Down to Earth is going to be your best bet for organic food or specialty ingredients such as nut cheese, tahini, etc.

Safeway has a bigger produce section, but you will find much less specialty foods.

Costco has a good produce department, but you may not be able to find very basic ingredients. I just got back from the Hawaii Kai Costco and they didn't have strawberries *boo* Last week, they didn't have cabbage. The Costco stores here are very big on salad mixes.

Down to Earth and Costco are a block away from each other. Safeway is at the opposite end of Kapolei, which can be a 30+ minute drive during peak traffic.
