I know that there are grocery stores just outside the parks..we have considered stopping on the way - using tiffany town car - or having it sent to WL. However, I was wondering if the small stores at the resort locations that have the villas/camp sites have a bigger selection? I know I can stop on the way..but its supposed to be vacation, right? Do I really want my first precious moments in Florida to be in a grocery store (where I spend sooo much time already with DD1, DD4, and DD6)? I am so excited to have the meal plan and not to have to cook or be in a kitchen for 9 entire DAYS...you mom's know what I'm talking about. But, our kids always eat breakfast, and are up early, (5:45am today!!), so we plan on being in the parks when they open eveyday and only planning on eating in a restaurant for breakfast at Crystal Palace and our departure day (trails end). Plus, we're not big into pop tarts or donuts for breakfast, so i do need some fresh stuff.
Anyway, this is a list of what we will be picking up:
Milk
oj
bread
yogurt
cottage cheese (my son eats it every day!)
bananas
apples
apple juice
cheese (maybe?)
I mailing down a bunch of other stuff, including protein bars, peanut butter, pretzels, etc. Any thoughts would be great..thanks!

. We did a couple of things, one I definitely DON'T recommend you try! 1st, we found someone to tell us where the closest "Super Wal-Mart" was. We wanted to go there because we could get anything else we needed or "forgot" which we found out included sunscreen (DH forgot that) and rain ponchos. Anyway, it took us about 5-10 minutes to get there (not bad, all highway) and got lots of stuff (bottled waters, sodas, chips, crackers, etc) that we originally didn't think we wanted but were very happy we did get (a bottle of water is almost $3 everywhere you go and small bag of chips $2). Along with the oatmeal, fruit and juices. Ended spending around $40.00, but we figured it saved us nearly $75-100. Highly recommend doing this the 1st day before you even check in. That way, after check in, you can get your luggage and toiletries organized as well as your groceries. Also, you begin saving money even before you set foot in the parks! The 2nd thing we did, having run out of a couple of things, was try a small supermarket close to the world. MISTAKE!! These are owned by questionable characters that don't speak english and the food (what there was of it, absolutely no selection) was either old, out of date or just plain yucky, not to mention 3X the price at a 7-11. I would highly recommend stopping before you go (many transportation services do this at no additional cost coming from the airport) and getting it "out of the way". In any event, there are others who have the exact same dilemma as you, hope this
