Groceries at Target

Does the Target on Harbor carry fresh food? Would I be able to pick up fruit/veggies, bread, etc..? I know it sounds like a stupid question, but I don't live near a Target and I can't remember if they carry those items, or only at SuperTarget.

Yes. They have a fresh food section. We have found it a nice one stop shop for picking up water, some groceries and any other things we did not want to bother bringing with us.

It would likely take you close to half an hour. Depends on what you consider walking distance I guess. If you are going to bring back a lot of stuff I'd at least catch a cab on the way back.

Like a PP mentioned, Cartwheel is a good App to download. Also, opening a Target Red Card debit or credit, will give a 5% discount on all your purchases, every time you shop. Plus, depending upon your purchases, additional savings from Cartwheel.
The Red Card discount also applies to all sale and clearance items in store and online purchases, with free shipping on all online orders. Their debit card is connected through your checking account. You just need to bring a check in with you, to apply.
Target also has a Cafe, if you might care to have a counter service out side of the land.
The cafe has sandwiches, pizza, etc. and soft drinks.
There are buses that run up and down South Harbor Blvd. Cost is $2.00 one way. Or If am remembering correctly, $5 all day. Or cabs won't cost too much, I think.

There is a WM nearby, but it's a few exits down off the freeway.

There's an ART stop right across the street if that makes it easier for you. Target is great, they have so much stuff. We also grabbed some meat and cheese platters from their cold section which made for VERY quick sandwich preparation. They have all the fresh food we needed.

Honestly google maps can be your best friend for stuff like this - that is what I use before going anywhere - it allows you to see full context of where everything is located and you can plug in point A and B and find out how long to walk, drive or take transit - it really can save you a lot of time by spending a little time on that website.

There is a health food store called Mothers Market and kitchen that is about 11 miles from DL. And there is a Sprouts Grocery Store in Fullerton.
Like a PP mentioned, just Google. It will yield good results.
