Groceries at HHI

The real countdown has begun: less than one month to HHI. I always seem to shop for groceries at the same places: Piggly Wiggly if I'm in a hurry, Publix because they will boil shrimp in the store and the Super Wal-Mart in Bluffton on the way in. I feel like I might be missing some great food somewhere else. I have a picky teenager but I have decided I can still stop at Wal-Mart for her and then shop somewhere else later. Any suggestions?

Is the Harris Teeter still open on HHI? Or have all Harriss Teeter's closed? I had a friend who worked there a few years ago for a short time after graduating from college. I'll have to look this up.

Anyway, Publix, PW, and WM seem to be the only other options.

Went to the Harris Teeter website, they are still there, and I didn't realize that there are two located on HHI.....

One is as you come on the island before goign around the big curve and the other is at the very end of the island, somewhere at the end of 278.

Went to the Harris Teeter website, they are still there, and I didn't realize that there are two located on HHI.....

I hate that HT on Park Plaza. Publix across the street is so much better. There's also a Food Lion by the post office in the same area.

Those are the same ones we hit when we made our DVC trips to HHIR, if we don't bring it in the car/cooler when we come to avoid the resort area mark-ups!

I have seen the Harris Teeter sign before the big curve. As anyone tried the Fresh Market in the Fresh Shops off 278? I have a picky eater so I haven't tried it in the past. After a long winter in NH I want some great fruit to eat while sitting on the deck.

I haven't tried that specific Fresh Market, but I live near Augusta, GA and shop at the Fresh Market there when I can afford it or want somethng special. I so love the Fresh Market. They have a goof meat/fish slection, wonder bakery items, fresh sushi, and a great deli area with pre cooked foods/cold salads/ stuff to go. And I would say that their produce selection is great.
