Groceries at BCV

We are considering taking the Magic Express instead of a private car transfer. However now we will miss our grocery stop. Is there a cheap way to get groceries near the BCV? Will the cost of a taxi to a grocery store from BCV negate the cost savings of using the free Magic Express. The hotel grocery list isn't very attractive and NetGrocer doesn't guarentee a delivery day. Any suggestions??

I'm going to use wegoshop.com for our BCV trip in May. They are very reasonable, and will deliver when we want. And, they have a great reputation here on the DIS!

After using netgrocer several times, I just sent in my order to wegoshop.com for our BCV stay in June. I really like being able to get some milk and other perishables and having a set time for delivery.

I took a quick look at the website and if I read it correct it's only a $15 shop and delivery fee for orders less than $100, is this correct or is there a % add on to the total bill or any other charges? Do you have to specify what grocery store to use? Not living in Florida not sure what store to specify, can you leave it to their discrection? Any other helpful hints? With the advent of Magical Express it sure reduces the need for a rental car.

We have used them and they are great. Yes it is $15.00 but we also tip them too. If you don't know any stores, they will make a suggestion for you or get a suggetion from the Dis-Boards. Give them your cell phone number. If something isn't available, they will call and ask if you want a replacement item and they will call as they arrive at your hotel.

After a few threads recently regarding how to get groceries without a grocery stop or car....

For the first time ever we decided to do Disney without a car....scarey I know.

I decided to use Wegoshop.com...WOW!!!!!!! They were wonderful and very accomodating. They shop for us on Easter Sunday (our check-in date for BWV's) they estimated arrival to be around 4pm. The called at 3:30 stating they would be finishing up at SSR and would be arriving around 4pm...They arrived on time and were wonderful.

All the food was there and the produce was just fine even the tomatoes!!!! They were able to accept my CC and the fee was $20 plus I gave them a generous tip for a job done above expectations!!! This is a family run franchise and they definatley give a small business feel. I called to make changes the night before and they were accepted with a smile...

I highly recommend Wegoshop.com and Eric and Rebecca Brown....Wonderful Company and Wonderful Couple....
