Grinchmas and the Parade??

Oops, I was editing when you posted. I didn't understand your question when I first posted, thus the edit. I would PM Laphin as I don't know the answer to which Grinch will be there.

Thank you. I did a search on Laphin. I'll ask him which Grinch. Unfortunately, he says he doesn't work Friday or Saturday and that is when we'll be there but I'm sure he can give me some good advice/tips on finding the Grinch.

Thanks agian.

So the parade is daily? Is Grinchmas daily, too? We'll be there 12/9-12/14, but the first and last days are travel days - no real park time. I'm feeling this will be a very rushed trip because of all the Christmas only things we want to do - Parade and Grinchas here, Ice, and CP, MVVCP, etc at WDW.

I was planning Sat for USF, but could do it Monday or Tuesday, too.

Any ideas?

The parade is every evening about an hour before park closing. Grinchmas is all day long. Times when the Grinch himself is appearing is usually located on the park map or you can also ask at Guest Services. He will appear several times a day. Grinchmas is just Suess landing decorated for Christmas and characters from Whovilel are roaming the park all day.

BTW, some of the Christmas decorations are starting to go up now in the restaurants.

Confisco is where? Do you have to pay park admission to get in? How much is the character meal there? How soon can you make a ressie?

TIA

Phamton, or anybody else who has experienced US at Christmas before...I see on the US website something about a "Whobilation" ceremony and a musical telling of the grinch story. Is this performed nightly? Is it at park closing, and therefor probably conflicting with the Macy's parade at US. And lastly, if I only had one day at US this trip, which one would you choose to see, and why?

TIA

Here's somre pictures of Whobilation in 2004: http://www.ioacentral.com/park_information/special_events/holidays_2004/holidays_2004.htm It is usually performed four or five times a day.

I'd do it all. Buy the one day/two park ticket and hit both parks. It only costs $10 more than the one day/one park ticket.

Okay...all you US experts...so does Grinchmas/Whobilation/Macys parade run after Christmas? Like the 26th - 31st???

Where can I go to get details descriptions / dates?

Thank you!

This past December, the Grinch was the movie Grinch (pretty scary for a small kid). The Grinch was located inside a store (maybe called Cats, Hats & Things). There was small sign outside of the door with a roped queue into the store for people to line up and get a photo & autograph with Grinch. I sent my husband inside to see what was happening and if we should wait in line for the kids to meet him. My husband said the Grinch looked a little scary (we have a 2 year old daughter) and she may cry so we skipped this photo op.

We really enjoyed the Balloon parade vs. the limited celebration of Grinchmas.
