Grinch meal

We are contemplating a trip to US in Nov. or Dec. this year. Could anyone tell me when the character meals with the Grinch started this year? I didn't know if they started earlier in Nov. like the MVMCP and Osborne Lights. Also, do the meals take place every day once they start or only on certain days like the MVMCP? Thanks!

I believe it started on or around 5th Dec - but I may well be wrong!!

We had breakfast with the Grinch on Sat, Dec 5th. I believe that the meals started on Fri, Dec 4th and took place every day. When planning, don't expect Universal to announce the dates very early. The official announcements were just a couple months before hand. It was a fun time, and a high-light of our trip.

We are going at Christmas and I want to know if I have to plan for Breakfast with the Grinch if we want to see those him?

The breakfast gave us some very unique opportunities to interact with the Grinch and other Whoville characters. However, if all you want is a meet and greet photo session, that was available in one of the retail stores last year. We did that on a different day than our breakfast, but the pictures didn't turn out. There is also a "not so realistic" Grinch that stands in the street year around. On previous trips the kids had their picture taken with him.
