It's vented! They say! That was my first thought too! Then, of course, fire concerns, but he said there haven't been any calls. He gets ticked that it ruins the porcelain!

Blech! Aside from the safety issues and ruining the porcelain, it's just gross to mix food and bathroom! Reminds me of the Seinfeld episode where Kramer would chop and peel his vegetables while he was taking a shower!

According to some "germ guru" I saw on 20/20 you should not even leave tooth brushes exposed in the bathroom. He said bacteria is vaporized when the toilet is flushed and it gets on everything. So what they are getting is a steak with a side of fecal bacteria. Holy e-coli (you must say ecole to make it rhyme but it was the best I could do)

Go check out the forums for the "Bradley smoker". It is amazing how many traveling people drag their smokers with them into hotel rooms.

Wouldn't it be better to just bring a pack of jerky with you?
