Does anyone know if you can bring a small grill and grill on your balcony at the DVC resorts?

Sorry, grills aren't allowed on DVC (or any resort) balcony. However, at each of the DVC resorts there are grills on the grounds for guests to use.

That would include any cooking device - hibachi, small portable gas grill, campfire, etc.

Charcoal grills are available at the quiet pools, usually with a small picnic pavilion. We have only used them at SSR. Really enjoyed it. I am always amazed at how little they are used. We brought all our stuff down to the pavilion and had a great dinner together.

I don't think garden grocer would have a problem with any of those.

But we would need to purchase our own charcoal and lighter fluid right? Does Garden Grocer deliver those items?

You don't need lighter fluid anymore. Some charcoal comes "presoaked". Kingsford Match Lite charcoal is one that comes to mind.

Thanks for the comments/suggestions :thumbsup2. DH and my father really want to grill while down there in October :confused3. Guess mom and I will hang by the pool ;).

They have some Bar-B-Q pits arranged in a few areas around SSR. You may need to clean them up a bit, but after that... fire 'em up! Have fun:goodvibes
