Grill Covers

I found some interesting covers in the grill section at home depot. They have a pack of disposable aluminum grill covers that you can use on the FW grills. I usually use the grill at our site and always have to clean it off. With these you can use one for your stay and then put it in the recycle bin. You still get the grill flavor without having to wonder what all has been on that grate. I think they were in a pack of 20.

I know this will offend the "real charcoal" grillers - but - this is the exact reason I have a portable, table-top gas grill. I don't move the ol' RV without it!

Yea i've been useing them for years...I picked up about 20 0f them from Big Lots several yrs ago when they got marked down to 25 cents.Renolds makes the ones i have. Its a heavy gage foil with slots pre cut in them.I use them on my small gas grill that i keep in my tool box...Makes clean up a snap!

We use both, but the propane grills are hard to beat for convenience. They last us about 1-2 years no matter how much we spend for them. For tailgating they can't be beat. Today, though we're bringing fire wood and charcoal. Temperature at kickoff will be around 30 and dropping. Look for me. I'll be the guy with a blue Buffalo Bills hat on (with horns) AND I'll be waving! I'll also have a Pat Tillman jersey on.

Back OT. I'll have to look for the covers. They sound like they work great!

We have a small portable charcoal grill for that very reason (less than $20 at Wally World). We haven't had to use it yet because the two times hubby has camped, we have been happy with the grill on the site, but if we come across a nasty one (or just one of those fire circles on the ground), we'll use the small grill.
