I knew Izzy was leaving the show but George?!??! How can they both leave the show? I'm disappointed.

George has been on so infrequently that I actually forgot about that character. I won't really miss him.

Izzy...I'm not surprised. After Katherine Heigl made those statements about the show's writing last year, I kinda figured she was on her way out.

I didn't really care for either of these characters and have no issue with them leaving. I am hoping this will freshen up the show.

I think Izzie was more of a done deal. She thinks she has a movie career now, and those comments certainly didn't help. Do you think they will kill her off?

Rumor also has it that the Chief (James Pickens) may also go.

I used to like the Izzy character ok, but a season of watching her have sex with a ghost has just been too much.

That show just needs to get back on track - big time.

Hopefully some of the new cast members can inject some life into it.

Oh man! I knew about George, but I didn't know about Izzy. That stinks. I was really hoping to see good things between her and Alex. But they never really let that play out, they brought back Denny's ghost instead. Blech. Nothing against Denny (b/c I loved him when he was alive) but the whole ghost thing was really stupid.

The real deal is that both actors are still under contract... ABC will have to agree to let them go, or they will have to face huge repercussions if they try to just walk. (No wonder Katherine would happen to make such comments... sounds like she is purposefully making them want to let her go.)

I could watch George, if they would actually give him a story line. But, I just simply do NOT like Katherine Heigle, at all. Good riddance....

And, as far as Grey's Anatomy in general... I agree with the above posters. The show now pretty much sucks... They spend episode after episode, year after year, with absolutely NO progression in the characters or the story line. (every character, and their relationships are almost exactly where they were when the series premiered... I am like, give me a break.

And, as far as all the heavy ruminating and messages and pondering and propoganda.. It is to the point where I just go
Not what I find 'entertaining'.

I find that I am not watching the show like I used to.
I wonder how their ratings are holding up.

Maybe the show will become watchable again. It certainly jumped the shark for me.

I used to like George a lot, but he has basically been MIA this season so I won't really notice that he is gone.

Izzy has never been a favorite of mine and with all this ghost business I will be glad to see her go. I really think the intern mixed up the blood work on the patient last week and Izzy is going to be the one with cancer, not the patient.

I like some of the new characters and "little Grey" has grown on me. I think she and Sloan could really have something. I even like Callie now

Please don't let the Chief or Bailey leave, I love those two! I want them to bring LL Cool J on as a love interest for Bailey!

I really enjoyed the last episode, I hope they are getting back on track.

I've heard the same. He took advice fro KH. It seems, he gave an ultimatum...more money or I'll walk. They said bye. At least, that's the rumor.

I haven't watched all season and barely watched last season. And I used to be one of those people the first season trying to get my friends to watch this new show called "Grey's Anatomy", LOL...

Haaaaa! I've liked the movies she's been in, but she just needs to keep her mouth shut.

I don't like hearing stars whine about how rough it is to be them.

I will miss them both. I have always liked Izzy (it's Meredith and Christina I wouldn't miss a bit) and I adore George. The show will not be the same for me once they are gone.

More airtime for Callie, I hope! I adore her!

I loved the episodes with the serial killer and the little boy. They've been the first episodes I've enjoyed in awhile.

George can go. I used to love him, but he's soooo boring lately. And after the ghost thing, Izzy can take a hike, too. I really want them to expand Christina and the new doctors relationship. I love how they are protraying PTSD with such clarity.
