Hey everyone! I just had a quick question. My boyfriend and I are going to Disneyland together for one day, on the 10th of August. We are going to take the greyhound because its cheap for us. We don't really have a car right now. We are taking the greyhound here from San Diego, National City. We have never really taken the greyhound, this is our first time. I'm not really sure, where are we suppose to go from the greyhound station in Anaheim, and how do we get to Disneyland?

I thought about "Going Grayhound" for my last trip but it was an 18hr trip. One way. :scared1: (I can drive it in 8-9 hrs) IIRC the terminal is about 2-3 miles away form DL. :confused3 Of course goin from San Diego to Anaheim will take a heck of a lot less time. Have fun though.

I think a taxi is probably your best bet. You can get a taxi back to the Greyhound station pretty easily as well.

I agree! It's only about 1 1/2 miles from the Greyhound station to Disneyland, but unless you're backpacking your gear, it would probably be easier to load your luggage into a taxi and take it over to your hotel.

We are actually just staying one day, my mom and sister are gonna pick us up that night because they want to go to Downtown Disney to do some shopping. How much would the taxi cost from the greyhound station to Disneyland? also, I read something about the ART? would that be a good option for us?

I've done this before, so I can help :hippie:

The Anaheim Greyhound station isn't a station (like, for instance, Union Station in downtown L.A. or even the Greyhound station in downtown San Diego) - it's really just a tiiiiiiiiny building, with a few chairs inside. It's pretty underwhelming, so, if the bus you're on is scheduled to keep on going after Anaheim, know what to look for .

You'll need to take a cab from the bus to the Park. Unlike the larger Greyhound stations, cab drivers don't usually park at the Anaheim station waiting to pick people up. This means you'll have to call a cab when you get there. IIRC, cab fare is about $10 to the Park.

As far as I know, the ART bus doesn't pick up/drop off from the bus station.

If you haven't already bought your tickets, look into Amtrak! Takes you right to Angels stadium parking lot, and you can catch a cab (was $13 by meter from station to Disneyland Hotel, would have been cheaper to be dropped off at the main entrance of the parks).

My dad used to be a driver for Greyhound and as one of his children I have free tickets for life through him...I won't ride them anymore, too junky! And neither will he!

If it's too late or too much right now, consider it in the future. If you can get yourself to the downtown Amtrak station, it's a relatively short trip with some lovely coastal views (also some backyard views, LOL) and you don't have to worry about any traffic other than freight trains.

Also ART Route #15 goes to the Amtrak station, which would cost $4 per person round trip (actually an all-day pass).
