Grey or Gray. Which do you prefer?

I prefer Grey. It just looks more like the color. The -ay in Gray seems like it would be applied to a more yellowy color (don't mind my musings, I tend to be a bit synesthetic).
 

I choose gray, because that is how my box of 64 Crayolas spelled it on the gray and blue gray crayons.
 
Gray, unless it's my hair, then I pick silver :teeth:
 
I like grey, even though the Mozilla spellchecker doesn't...
 
I've always preferred "grey" and spelled it that way. Well, apart from 5th grade, when I had a teacher who was the biggest b-word in the known universe who refused to let me. If she saw it spelled that way on a paper, she flunked me. God, I hated that nasty hag.

I prefer it that way too. Grey just looks more proper. Don't know why. :confused3
