Hello everyone!
It's been quite a while since I've wandered over to the Collector's board and I wanted to see how everyone is doing?
After having missed going to the pin event last year and being park location challenged, Trina and I are in the midst of planning a vacation to Walt Disney World for this summer. We're talking all of the kids (heaven help me) so this should be interesting. The trip is a Summers Celebration. Our oldest daughter Ashley graduates from college next month. Our daughter Tiffany turns 16 this year, and Trina and I will celebrate our 25th wedding anniversary. So if anyone is planning to be in the parks from June 16 - June 25 maybe we can meet up for a mini-meet.
I'm just starting to dust off the pin books and look through them to find trading pins for the trip. With seven pin traders, I think I might go broke loading lanyards for 10 days. Does anyone have any recommendations for introducing kids to pin trading? I'm pretty sure my idea of pin trading is not exactly what Disney or the kids had in mind. Trina reminded me that talking with an Australian accent and making people run around the parks looking for cotton candy is not a normal pin trading activity.
