Greeting Card Swap--MAILING INSTRUCTIONS--update 11-10

How is everyone doing? Know that there are a lot of swaps going on right now. Remember the DUE DATE: November 3, 2006

Instructions.
Send only the cards for the others that are in your group. Include an index card to represent your card—it should say (for example): Christmas, Group 1, ksjayhawks.

Mailing:
1. Slip each card/envelope into a sandwich baggie--it does not have to shut. Label the baggie with your DIS name, real name and group number.
2. Send your cards in a large (gallon-size) bag for protection. Mark the bag with your DIS name and real name. I will reuse the bag to mail the cards back to you.

You may have your cards returned by
1)priority mail--$4.05.
If you choose this option please include a $4.05 stamp (cannot be metered) and an index card with your mailing address printed clearly on it.
If you are sending a priority stamp, do not send an envelope as I can get them at the post office.
Also, if you send cash, please send $4.05 only.
2)a self-addressed stamped envelope (SASE) that is included in the package that you mail to me.
The amount of postage on your SASE should be the same amount that it takes to mail to me. Do not send a metered stamp on this envelope.
To ensure that enough postage will cover the returned swap items, include three additional stamps (24 cents). These will be returned if not used.

Please pm me with your DIS name, real name, mailing address and phone number.

I plan to pm everyone with my mailing address by tomorrow evening. I will also start a received thread when the first package is received.

If everything arrives by the due date, I plan to have it all swapped out in 7 days. We all know life events happen, so if you are experiencing a problem, please post or pm me and we will work something out!

My cards went into the mail today. Unfortunately, and for the second swap in a row, I forgot to include the return postage so that's coming in a separate card. Oops.

I've not started my holiday cards or the wedding cards for that matter. I am going to a big stamping/scrapping convention next weekend. There might be a really cool thing I want to buy. I could justify the purchase because of the swap. I am going to the "stamp night" on Saturday which is above and beyond the convention show.

Can't wait to buy something new. Just don't tell my DH!

I bought the card foundations, envelopes, and embellishments. It is a matter of putting them all together. Unfortunately I have a lot of swaps I need to finish before getting to this one. So I am not going to be early on this.
