How is everyone else doing?

I'm here. It's taking me a little longer to finish my altered paint cans than I expected. The inside parts should be done today. Than the toppers'n'tags and than this one. I have all the parts and pieces. It is just finding a way to put them together in a pleasing manner.

Yeah, I had a set back on another swap, so this one isn't finished yet. I have everything ready to go, so when I start, tomorrow, it will be fast. I hope to mail Monday.

I've been so busy lately trying to come up with ideas for my SU workshops that I haven't had time to sit down and do my swaps. I'll work on getting these done next week!

On my cards with the basket I used chalk. Glad they made it there.

My cards are on the way. I mailed them on the 10th. It's my first swap and I'm excited about seeing all the other cards.

My wedding cards are just about done, except I made the dumbest, most rookie mistake. I DIDN'T GET ENOUGH PAPER TO GET THE JOB DONE. I ended up 1 sheet short. DUH!!!

I can't get back to that particular store until Saturday. I can't believe I did that. And if I had been thinking, I could have laid out the "layered" stuff a little bit differnently and I would have had the extra I would have needed for the card.

OK, thanks for letting me vent.

I'll have to be strong at the store...I am afraid what this extra piece of paper is REALLY going to cost me. I really should only have to spend $1.05 more. But there is other stuff that will most likely jump into my hands just before the check-out.

My holiday cards are all stamped, but need to assemble them. The fronts of 4 of my wedding cards are done, and the "stuff" for the 5th card is all set to put on the card once I get the last sheet of paper, then I have to stamp the insides.

My Thank You cards are 1/2 finished. I really like the way they are turning out. My Sympathy cards, however, are another matter. I have made 3 different ones and I'm not happy with any....back to the store to get different paper, cause it just isn't "right", ya know?

I've started with my ideas and finishing some other swaps. However I'm on a cruise next week so they won't get in the mail until the week after. They will make it by the due date though.

I'm buckling down to get mine done this weekend I hope! I've been busy with getting married, going on my disneymoon, getting sick on my disneymoon and now recovering!!! oye! but they'll make it there for the due date - not to worry about that!

So I made mine up, and showed to my most honest critic...my DH. He smiled and said cute for the Thank Yous, and just shrugged for the sympathy...so I went to the store for different papers...a shrug is NOT GOOD

Thank you for posting the original sign up list! We had parent teacher conferences today at my school, plus had to go to the ones for ds. I am exhausted so going to bed early, for me at least!

Posting the sign ups is easy. Keeping track of who sent what and what goes where to get back to whom, not so easy.

jennyL--I suppose we can wait until you get back from your cruise (just teasing!) Have a great time and tell us all about it. Wish I were on one too!

How's everyone else doing? I have mine about half done, just so much going on with end of quarter and new job. We are to get 7 or 8 new kids in the next week or so.
