Greenberg Trailer Rental.....

Well, we leave in a little over two weeks! Both of our daughters and their families will be renting RV's from Greenberg instead of pulling down theirs. However, our youngest daughter just noticed that their chosen trailer no longer appeared on the website! She then called.......and found out that the trailer they'd chosen was in for repairs and would be replaced with a completely different model. No big deal....EXCEPT that it's smaller, with one less slide, in a critical area.....the children's bunk area. Now her pack and play for her one year old will no longer fit!!!! Apparently they don't notify you of these changes and you just have to discover it by accident???? NICE!!!!

Anyone else experience and problems or issues like this? Did they offer you a discount or anything? This is her husband and children's FIRST trip!

Has your daughter called and explained why she picked the trailer she did and a smaller trailer will not work. We used Greenburg on our last trip and we ended up with a brand new larger trailer, Matt the owner even got us a golf cart after our reservation was cancelled by another off site vendor at the last minute. Two weeks from now starts prime spring break season and I am sure they are pretty well booked up and not much of anything available. I would call and ask why in another two weeks the camper they reserved will not be fixed, doesn't take that long to fix a camper.

Wow, what a putoff! No notice or anything? Crappy way of doing business if you ask me, especially if they downgraded and didn't tell her.

I also agree with Sundancer, 2 weeks for repairs? That's not including the unknown amount of time that it was taken offline before she noticed it was gone from the webpage.
