My aunt's sister heard from the checkout clerk at the grocery that her niece has a friend who is working at Disney on the CP program in one of the car parking lots that the bus driver told her the next DVC will be on the Moon. Very high points, but an "out of this world experience" (Ownership not recommended for those who can't take Mission Space)

And we all know the bus drivers are the source of TONS of good rumors. They have been expanding that monorail for 20 years!

I'm ready to buy DVC Craters on Luna Villa (CLV) points right now and wait for development!

What an out-of-this-world idea CarolA, and since your contact heard it from a WDW Bus Driver, I know it is true!

If it was your own idea, you should be working for Disney!

I think there is some confusion here and at Disney.

As we all know, the VCR is dead. That is the Video Cassette Recorder. When the folks at Disney heard that the VCR was dead, they thought it meant the Villas at the Contemporary Resort (VCR) and immediately made plans for the AKV instead. This is true because I heard it from a member of the housekeeping staff at the BWV. At least I think that's what she said but I'm not as fluent at Spanish as I used to be.

Cute HBC! If I was Queen of DVC planning for a day, the VCR would already be on the boards. Sorry but AKV doesn't float my boat.

I was there over Christmas and it looked like they were just gutting the North Wing. The only thing is that they have also closed and the tennis courts and tearing up them up too.

I’ve been told by different CM different things about what they are doing. One said just remodel and another said we would be able to see the lake in a couple of months after they tear it down.

I guess we will have to wait until they either tear down the North Wing, which would mean they are probably going to build a DVC or if the just remodel like the rest of the resort. If they remodel than it would be a done deal that no DVC for years to come.

I am SO tired of hearing the "rumors". When they announced VAKL the mods made ALL of the posts go in ONE thread. I propose the ONE mega thread for the Lunar Villas where those who are interested can chat and the rest of us can ignore.

I hate to burst anyone's bubble. Recently I took an Illuminations cruise and the captain told me that the black sections of the swan and dolphin, that were originally to be taken out for the monorail, will be the next DVC.
