DISNEYRSH......What you are doing seems fine to me and I do not see why people would have a problem with it....Disney holds DVC rooms for cash ressies....so I do not think you are taken anything away from anyone. Besides if it was not for me renting the first time I used DVC I might have never purchased DVC...there is a big difference from seeing a model and acually using a room....it helped me make a purchase decision.

Everyone has the chance at these rooms...if you are quick enough to get them booked before someone else...than more power to you. I feel thatyou are using the system and not abusing it......

Besides I would not want to mess with a girl who can use Power Tools......

I am an Other....

I will be renting out a lot of points soon to help cover the cost of our 10/07 DCL Cruise....

I have also rented points out to friends a few times...

But mostly we use our points for our vacations, and to help friends take great vacations too.

I think it's OK to rent when a situation arises, but I'm not a fan of renting out *regularly* and I guess neither is Disney.

Yes, I can organize my trips to get when/what I want, but that's not the issue that bugs me.

I made sure, before I bought, that I could cover the expenses so I didn't NEED to rent regularly unless something unusual came up. I am glad though that the option IS available. I'm fine with the new enforcement of the 1x/per year rule. It should be all anyone really needs to rent. JMHO.

No I've never rented points, we bought them to use for th efamily vacation and to get out of the cold Maine winters for little R&R, so i can't see myself parting with them. That said i do like the option if some family emergency, god forbid< should arise and i can't keep my ressie.
