Green Grocer question

Does anyone have an email link for the Green Grocer that delivers food to the resorts. I understand that their prices are better than ordering from the WDW grocery delivery.

The other popular option and the one that we use is www.wegoshop.com . We've been very happy with their service, and because she shops at Publix, the grocery prices are more reasonable and the selection somewhat better than Garden Grocer.

This isn't a restaurant question - moving to Resorts.

Garden Grocer also can deliver one of those foam "disposable" coolers with your groceries. I searched for coolers on their site and came up with that one that holds 2 gallons of milk or two other hard sided 12-pack sized coolers. :scratchin

So glad to hear such good reviews of the garden grocer. We will be using them for the first time in Dec.

I'd like to order from Green Grocer for our trip in June. If we're landing in the AM and plan to go to the parks after check-in what time frame should I choose for delivery? Does the resort hold the order (including perishables) or do they put it in my room? We wouldn't be back to POFQ too late but not until after dinner. Should I have it waiting for me when I check-in if that's an option?
Thanks for any advice that you can give me.:)

There's no grocery delivery company in the Disney area called Green Grocer.

There's We Go Shop www.wegoshop.com with a $17 and up (depending on order size) service charge and with no 'set' list - she will shop at the one store of YOUR choice.
There's Garden Grocer www.gardengrocer.com with a $40 minimum/$12 service fee (sliding up, but $0 if your order is $200 or more) which apparently shops at a specific unidentified but good-quality store, based on the shopping list from which you can select.
Both sites also allow special requests.
Also, Goodings www.goodings.com offers grocery delivery $50 minimum/offhand I don't know the service charge - and obviously, all items come from Goodings :)

I actually did know that it was Garden not green but I guess I looked at the thread title... Sorry about that! I actually placed an order for our arrival day with an early evening delivery window. I figured that even if we weren't back when it arrived it wouldn't be there long before we did return. Does that seem like a reasonable plan?

Works for me :) If there are perishables in your order, Bell Services has a refrigerator for those if you're not in your room yet when the order comes.

Good to hear all the excellent reviews of Garden Grocer I hope to use them in 3 weeks, can they deliver wine and beer too?;)

Yes, that will work. We are having them deliver tomorrow night between 7 and 9 and we land in Orlando about 11 so it should be there waiting for us. We'll see.

I have a question related to this if you don't mind. We are staying at AKL in two weeks and are interested in a grocery delivery. I am curious how big the fridges are in the rooms? Will they fit a gallon of milk? I am trying to get an idea of the overall size so I know what to order. And we don't have to be at the resort at the time of delivery? I was having a hard time trying to figure a two hour span that we would be in our rooms??? Thanks so much for any advice!! :)

Sorry, can't help you on the fridge size but I can answer your other question. We had Garden Grocer deliver to our resort while we were still on the plane (the last reservation time they had available) -- since you pay up front and they can leave it with Bell Services, you don't have to be there at all. Just pick it up on your way back from the parks.

We stayed at Coronado Springs, the refrigerator was compact size. It was pretty small. In the door it held a half Gallon jug of milk. Not a Gallon. The shelves were close together in the main compartment and I don't see how a 1 gallon jug could fit, unless sideways and then the door probably wouldn't close. The refrigerator didn't keep items cool enough to last for week. Mine was always on the warm side and then it would freeze over in the back with ice. Mousekeeping came to replace the refrigerator because it wasn't that good at keeping groceries cool. At the gift shop they offered half gallon jugs of milk at under $3. Garden Grocer delivered my groceries and they were pretty good with my order, but unfortunately the refrigerator wasn't so great so I had to throw a lot out in a few days time.

Are the fridges at the deluxe resorts the same size as moderate? I just want to be sure I don't order too much... Thanks everyone for your replies!! It is very helpful. Does anyone know if you have to be present at the hotel for we go shop to deliver? Thanks again!!! :flower3:
