Green Eggs & Ham Cafe

I don't understand why they don't offer some decent food at the Monsters Cafe and reopen it. The place is amazing!

I don't know enough about Green Eggs and Ham to comment about their food or theming.

Monsters basically serves the same food as other places at the Studios so it's really overkill. I like the atmosphere with the horror movie posters and decorations but the food isn't that great. I'm guessing a complete menu change would be needed and accepted by park goers before it's open all the time.

If I remember correctly...Green Eggs & Ham is only a walk-up stand...you can't sit inside so there isn't a whole lot of themeing above the Dr. Seuss themeing.

Seasonal is only during busy times like Spring Break or holiday times. For example...Monsters Cafe is only open during Christmas festivities, Mardi Gras (I think) and of course...Halloween Horror Nights. There aren't any big crowd events at IOA except for Grinchmas that would normally bring in lots more people so I don't think it will be open during October unless HHN is extended to IOA next year...which is highly unlikely.

Thanks Metro, looks like I need to plan a Christmas trip down there for next year instead of October. I so need to eat at Green Eggs and Ham.

I don't know...this place just reopened after being closed for a few years so we will need to check into the schedule.

Does anyone have any information on when the Green Eggs & Ham cafe will be open and when it won't? Would really like to plan our trip for next year and will aim for Christmas if they will be open then. Was just curious if there was any pattern. Thank You.

I'm sure you know what you are doing, but I just wanted to remind you the crowds are HUGE during Xmas. I don't think I would plan to go during such a peak time for a sandwich.

But I can certainly understand! I have done stranger things and it is all about what makes your trip special to YOU! Just wanted to make sure you know what you are getting into.

Thank you, I appreciate that, I know the crowds are huge during that time, I have been before, I can handle that. It would only be for a sandwhich, well and to not really have a set plan, it is just a long story as to why it is so important to me to eat there. Its just the week after Christmas is always hard for me and my Mom to have off work, so just curious as to if it will be open the week before? Hoping it will be.

The green eggs are made with spinach powder? That would at least be one way to get a veggie into a kid while on vacation. At least sort of.

Spinach powder? I remember it was parsley juice at first to green the eggs.

if you really want the green eggs and ham sandwich, they have it at the spiderman breakfast.

it's one of the items on the breakfast buffet.
