Green Dragon Flea Market - near Lancaster, PA

DH and I like to go but it is only open on Fridays and we can only go when school is closed or the summer. We have no one to get DD after school and this year I am working as a teachers assistant. This means we go in the spring and summer.

The produce and baked goods are great! It is not what I would call a flea market as most sellers are dealers and are selling new items. I do plan on going next yeat to buy a kitchen island from one of the amish furniture stores.

We go to Lancaster for Fri, Sat and Sun every year after Thanksgiving. I am came across this and it looks like fun to try this Friday. Is there still stuff outdoors this time of year?

Green Dragon is more a Farmer's Market than flea market. You'll find fresh meats and produce, plus all kinds of wares from socks and towels to watches and antiques.

It can take a few hours to explore the whole complex, mostly level grounds. It is only open Fridays. We used to go often, mostly in the warmer months, but I typically get home too late in the afternoon to make it worthwhile to go there from our current location.

You may find more to do south of Ephrata and east of Lancaster city, in Paradise, Intercourse or Bird in Hand. www.padutchcountry.com for things to do in Lancaster County.

Thanks. We have been to Lancaster many, many times. We were thinking that this could be fun and something different on our way into Lancaster.
