Great Wolf Lodge Promo Code

I'm fed up with Great Wolf & their pricing! We did have a great price with the funfirst code that we got in the mail but dh had to make sure he could get the time off first--well in the matter of one day their price jumped $50 for the first night (a Sunday even!). I called a couple CS reps & they even talked to their supervisor supposedly but they said once the price goes up there is nothing they will do. The one even had the nerve to say that he couldn't believe I would cancel my plans over ONLY $50! :sad2: I really don't see how the chain can make it in this economy without lowering their prices & until they do, they've lost a customer!

Here's hoping the rest of you have better luck!

I would like to go back , but will not pay exhorbitant fees like they ask. I need a code for the Poconos location for anytime.

Yup, I feel the same way. Been there twice over the past few years but we won't be going back until they lower their prices. I'm from NY - don't mind driving to VA - but theirs is just as high as the Poconos.

I've been looking for a code from around March 29 thru April 4th or so - even 2 nights - but it's $1,000.00 for even 2 nights!

$1,000 for a room and a water park is ridiculous.

I was told that there are some waterparks in Ohio - Sandusky I think, that's supposed to be better and less expensive. A friend of mine is from Ohio - and they love them. I think it's called Kalahu or something.

GWL needs to lower their prices.

We just returned from GWL Poconos. Stayed one night (Thurs-Fri). I noticed that the further out you book, the better rate you'll get, along with avoiding weekends if at all possible. Rates are still pretty high. I was lucky enough to be able to use SCOUT as our promo code (we have a brownie..). It knocked a significant amount off and made the trip do-able.

I do agree that prices are incredibally high. Bottles of water were $3 in the water park. 4 adult beverages cost us $30! And the buffet for dinner was $25/adult, $12 for children. We brought most of our own food, cases of water and juice boxes, lunchmeat for sandwiches and breakfast items. (all rooms have fridges and microwaves).. so that did cut our food costs a little.

With the rate that we paid ($229) I compared it to what we would spend if we were to take a trip to Hershey Park...if we chose to stay at a hotel plus park admission for 5 we'd probably pay more. GWL is not Hershey, but we did have 2 full days of great family waterpark fun during blizzard like conditions.

(Warning to parents: be prepared to be exhausted if you like to join in on the fun...I think I must have climbed 1000 flights of stairs between the waterpark and Magiquest...my quads are STILL burning!)

$229 was worth it, but I don't know if I would pay much more than $300/night. Hope you can find a good rate or find another alternative for some family fun! I know we made memories with our kids that in the long run will be priceless!

Don't know of any codes but wanted to mention that I have been twice - once each of the last 2 years...I have been mid-week. And BOTH times i got the best price by using expedia.com. This was for the Niagara Falls location - not sure if all locations are on there or not.

This is for 'room only' but does include the 4 water park entrances like a normal room ressie would have. I personally don't like the food package deals - since they have frig/micro in room we just bring all our food for the night and make out MUCH better off, IMO.

I have a scout as well, but that code didn't work... It's a shame that they charge so much in this economy.. I wonder if they packed over Easter break.

We had the same experience, we were going every year in February for my DD's birthday, but not this year, way too much for us. We switched over to Splash lagoon in Eire PA, it's the same distance for us from Syracuse, and it's much cheaper. I can use my points at the Comfort inn, and there are a ton of restaurants right there, like Stake and Shake and Golden Corral. That alone makes it cheaper. My teens say they like it better anyway, as there is more for them to do. It's not a fancy or disneyesque as GWL, but at least we can afford to go.

We haven't been since they offered the EDGE code for $99 rooms. I would like to go back, but it's just so expensive for a weekend. I always say I could do Disney for almost the price of a weekend at GWL. Forget about Spring Break...$400 a night is insane!

I heard Six Flags Great Escape in Lake George is fun, and it's a lot cheaper from what I hear.

I am looking for Great Wolf lodge Poconos promo code for end or June.
My daughter has been dying to go there but I think it is too expensive
for the poconos.
Thanks
