Do these exist and where do you find them? I had no idea it was so pricey - our GD has been asking to go and was hoping to take her for a weekend later this year. Thanks,

Yes, they do exist, usually 25 or 30% off. There was a 30% off sale going on but it just ended yesterday. If you sign up for their e-mails you should get the codes when they come out. Be forewarned, though, that their sales usually only apply to weekdays and never on school holidays, at least at my GWL (Williamsburg).

Groupon in my area occasionally also does Great Wolf Lodge promotions as well.

I get emails all of the time from GWL with discounts- winter, spring, summer and fall. I just booked 3 days/2 nights for mid Sept (Sun-Tues) at the Williamsburg for $139.99 a night (plus taxes). I could have gotten Sat-Mon for $160.99 a night. Definitely sign up for their emails! We also add breakfast to our reservation for $10 a person. We are going to eat breakfast there anyhow so the voucher costs us less plus it includes tip. Good luck! My son loves it there!

We stay over on a Sunday, and the kids skip school that Monday, or come in late. Weekends here (Fri/Sat) start at $400/nt, and quickly go upward from there.

This is the same email I received too. Our union through work offers discounts too.

I've had great success with discounts during summer and Christmas break. We did last Christmas (Dec 27-30) for $245/night, regular is more than $400. We only go when we get a good deal.

I asked at the front desk the last time I was there, and the employee also said that the email list is the best way to get discounts.

FWIW though, if you don't live near Florida or California, Great Wolf Lodge is a really wonderful alternative. Even without discounts it still costs far less than a Disney vacation!
