Hi Guys!

We're staying at the Great Wolf Lodge in Concord, NC this weekend - and am wondering - are there any specific room requests/locations/floors that are better than others? Any tips or ideas of what to ask for?

Thanks in advance!

PS Any other hints for the Great Wolf Lodges will be welcome also!

Here's a few tips. We went about 2 weeks ago and were given the wrong room; as a result they upgraded us to a one bedroom suite. Not too shabby:banana: Anyway, we ended up on he bottom floor. The bottom was on the same level as the waterpark and arcade which was kind of nice. I could quickly get to the room if I needed. I want to say the number was around 1031 ?? I also brought lots of snacks and things that could be heated up in the microwave; one night we had hotdogs and Trader Joes Mac-n-cheese. Saved some money. They have a mini frig and microwave in each guest room.

Here is a head's up. So the second day we are hanging out by the wave pool and a life guard blows her whistle and proceeds to drag this guy to the side. Next thing I know there are ten lifeguards around him and they are doing mouth-to-mouth. This kid was probably 19. So I bow my head and start praying; I wanted to cry. I said to other's we need to pray for this kid!!:scared1: So after the longest 5 minutes of my life a lady comes over and informs me this is a drill!:rotfl: OK I felt a ding-dong! That kid got seriously prayed over that day!! Aparently they have this drill everyday.

Anyway, have a great time. The place is nice, clean and I felt extremely safe with my kids in the water. They have a ton of life guards that are really on the ball.

Great info! Thank you! Especially the hint about the life guard drill - I'd hate to be scared 1/2 to death too!

We are packing easy to handle snacks like granola bars, water and popcorn. Were you able to bring water bottles into the water park area?

I know you brought a bunch of food but, did you try any of the restaurants also? We added on the meal plan, since it was $20 per person - and there are 6 of us... so we thought it'd be an ok deal for breakfast, lunch and dinner...

I was at another Great Wolf Lodge last weekend and the only advice I have is to bring hand sanitizer (a place like that can't be exactly germ-free) and I would suggest staying on an upper floor only because there were kids jumping and screaming over our heads alll night. :headache:
