Great Wolf Lodge 51% off on Hotwire

I was doing some searching for one night at an Anaheim hotel before we check into the Grand Californian the next day and noticed that Hotwire has the Great Wolf Lodge in Anaheim for 51% between March 9-13. If you have a family of 4, nightly rates were $97, about $164 with taxes/fees (water park is included, not sure about parking). I decided against booking since we wouldn't even really have time to enjoy the resort. Also, I have a family of 6, so we would still be charged an extra $50 per person at check in for the extra 2 people in a room. Search for a 3.5 star resort in Garden Walk Anaheim-Garden grove area. You can usually click on the hotel room picture to make sure you're getting the Great Wolf Lodge. I thought it was a pretty good deal so hopefully someone can take advantage of it.

It is a really good deal. I was really tempted to do it for our upcoming trip in February, but we have a really packed 6 night itinerary already, and I think packing in a water park would make it too crazy. I can totally see my kids just wanting to stay at the water park and not wanting to do all of the other cooler stuff we have planned. I think the concept of these hotels is pretty cool, but I am wondering if the Disney one doesn't do that well for that exact reason that I opted against it. I have never seen Great Wolf Lodge offered through Hotwire at that kind of price in any other area. If they were booked up, they would not be offering a price that low through Hotwire.
