Just got back to amerisuites universal. Parks are NOT crowded at all. Had all major rides done at IOA by 11 this morning and used express for 2nd rides by 1 o'clock. Lunch at latin Quarter (Mahi sandwich=yummy) and off to Studios. Production central, New york, Hollywood all done as well. FOTL would have been nice but not necesary, no wait longer than 15 minutes.

I'm trying something different, today the camcorder and stay dry. Tomorrow the swimsuit and sandals and cut loose on the water rides. We'll see how that works from park to park.

Great time today, back tomorrow. :bounce:

fboy,,,just got back to clean up for emeril's tonite. IOA had a much bigger crowd today, spidey was up to 45 minutes when we walked past @ 4 PM. The studios was not bad this morning. walked past T2 first thing this morning, EE had already put that up to 30 minutes. Back to the Future, MIB (rode twice 69k and 228k), EQ and Jaws were pretty much walk ons. We did use an express for the second trip through MIB. A quick ET and back to T2 with only 15 minutes of wait time, pretty much just the pre-show. Then it was over to IOA for the water rides since we had covered the rest yesterday. Picked up expresses for ripsaw and bilge barges, then did river adventure with a 20 minute wait. Quick bite to eat at Blondie's and then we let the soaking continue with Dudley and Popeye on the express passes.

I think my plan went well in sandals and swimsuits because 2 soaked puppies were we when we we exited. Happy not to have the camcorder, cameras, etc. to worry about taking the soaking as well or dealing with lockers, changing, etc.

All in all, 2 good days at USF without needing FOTL. Kelly's book helped in pre-trip planning and this board was a gem as well. Once you get a strategy of using the express passes you can get everything in you want to do, sometimes numerous rides. (spidey and MIB).

Gotta get dressed for Emeril's, then gotta catch a cruise out of Miami tomorrow so a trip report may be a week or two behind.

Glad you're having fun so far! Thanks for posting. I'm looking forward to a detailed report about Emerils.

renee,,,,it was wonderful. Sorry for the delay, just back from our cruise (also wonderful)!!

Emerill's,,,,,ahhhh,,,,service impeccable, food magnificent. I started with an Andoouille (spelling) sasage appetizer and the soup of the day which also contained both chicken and Andouille sasage in a black bean stock. Both marvelous, somewhat spicy, I'd give a BAM!! For entrees, I did a blackened crusted fish of the day special and DW had a chicked entree that was perfect as well. Finished with the signature dessert, banana cream pie that nhad me waddling out of City walk.

Expensive,,yes. Worth it,,,yes. Both the food and the sevice were first class. I found it interesting that they were serving walk-ins (no ressies) at 8 o'clock on that Sunday night when I had so much trouble getting a reservation. It looks like a lot of people "back-out" at the last minute. Tired from the parks I guess, but if you get the chance, go for it
