Hi all, We stayed a few night's at the DTD Hilton CL before moving to the GF's CL. I can say the hotel and the lounge is superb. The only thing I do not advise is taking their Vacation Club Tour. We went and were ready to buy, until we said we needed a little more time to think about it. Our guide was great about it, then the "Deal Closer" came around offering us a "Free" vacation there for $2K. We told him we were not interested and he pushed and pushed until we just got up and walked out.

All in all, the Hilton resort at DTD get's 4 stars in my book.

Good to hear you had a nice stay.

What kinds of things are available in the club lounge? Are there any hot foods at night or cookies?

2 Hot foods such as chicken skewers pastas etc. Cookies from 11-10 everyday. and a fountain for coke, sprite etc.

Thanks for sharing. My family and I will be staying at this Hilton, hopefully, in March. I got the call for the timeshare talk and a good rate, and now I am going to be spending a few grand for the privilege. Yay me. Good to know what to expect for the timeshare spiel. We'll be prepared to be super tough. I am not buying, so we need to be ready!

Thanks for the info on the lounge. Do they have bottled water? Can you take things out or must you keep it there?

Also, was your room on the club level and did face downtown disney? If so, was it a great view?

We're debating between staying a couple of nights at Hilton or Doubletree... any recommendations?
